Zire 71 disappears from palmOne US website
palmOne has pulled the Zire 71 from the list of its current product line which spells the discontinuation of this model. Some retailers are still holding inventory of this model, and will dispose of it pretty fast; given the fact that the Zire 71 is a dang good PDA to begin with.
Our last check with Staples.com and CircuitCity.com returned an out-of-stock status.
Other palmOne models that were pulled earlier were the Tungsten W, Tungsten T & Tungsten T2 which leaves only 3 models representing each of its Tungsten, Zire, and treo series … for now.
After Spring, palmOne traditionally refreshes its business lineup - currently represented by the Tungsten and treo series - in Fall. So we can look forward to new models then.
