WiFi on your PDA without sacrificing memory slot

The best form of IEEE802.11b wireless networking, or Wi-Fi for a PDA is always as-built-in. Windows Mobile-powered PDAs without a built-in solution but with a SDIO-compatible SD slot can opt for a Wi-Fi SD card. This had been at the expense of memory expansion at most times as most PDAs these days come with a single expansion slot (save for the Tapwave Zodiacs.)

Sandisk has announced that they are planning shipments within the next 30 days of their new 256 megabyte (MB) + Wi-FiĀ® SD Combination card with both memory and a Wi-Fi module in a single card that works in all Windows Mobile-powered PDAs; suggested list price is $129. There is yet any similar solution (even without built-in memory) for the Palm OS platform.
