Video interview; price indication on OQO Model 01
Cnet’s News.com has a video interview with Jonathan Betts-LaCroix, OQO’s Chief Technology Officer. In it, we see a prototype Model 01 in Mr. Betts-LaCroix’s hands as he indicates the various ports and options available, the battery (which is impressively thin), the sliding screen mechanism that looks very smooth, and in its docking cradle. Mr. Betts-LaCroix was then asked for the launch and the expected price of the Model 01, in which he replies that it shall ship in Fall ‘04 for a price “below $3,000″. Watch the video here.
