Peeling Zire 72 keeps a-haunting
Despite all what’s been written in multiple Palm-centric (and some non-Palm) websites, discusion groups and forums throughout the world about the problem - no news comes about from palmOne itself on a satisfactory resolution.
Sure, we have lots of complaints logged; lots of support “we are looking into it” replies to such complaints. But what about the prospective Zire 72? Most if not all agree on the great features of a Zire 72, yet hesitate on the final purchase decision. We have said that one wouldn’t buy a car - even if it’s the best yet cheapest in the world - and expect the paint to peel off. Read up on forums from such websites as KVPUG, MyPDACafe and Palminfocenter to see what we mean.
Is palmOne doing anything about this? Or is it just content on selling, and throwing customer support every time the problem crops up? Why can’t it rectify the problem in manufacturing?
C’mon palmOne … do something.
