Motorola MPx220 finally shows up

Motorola has released on its press site detailing its latest and highly anticipated smartphone, the MPx220. Ever since then, gadget websites throughout the world have been fretting over it. It grew feverish after it was also revealed as a centerpiece in the ongoing TechEd 2004 conference by Microsoft in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Arne Hess of PPCW.net has further updates as he attends the conference, and has some extra pics of the smartphone. Apparently he cannot say more … perhaps due to a NDA placed upon conference participants.

So far, no news on commercial sale of the MPx220; price not available. Motorola says this (of little help):

The Motorola MPx is expected to be available in 2004. For more information regarding pricing and product availability in your region, please check with your local Motorola representative.
