Dell’s confusing Axim pricing

Help! Dell’s website received a facelift awhile back which promises a better web experience for its purchasers, but with the latest multiple-page offer sheets and pricing plans we are left wondering if Kevin Rollins is letting things slip just a little ever since he assumed the Dell presidency?

Take a look at what we are rambling about: On their Home & Small Business Centre (Malaysia), Dell has the Aximâ„¢ X3 400Mhz (that’s the Axim X3, not the X30) and Aximâ„¢ X30 312Mhz selling for RM1,237.00 and RM967.00, respectively.

However, over at its Dell Products and Promotions (Malaysia - “Express Path”) site, the same two models are tagged with RM979.00 and RM929.00, respectively. We understand that here, they are highlighting the Axims on a promotional price - but shouldn’t the other (heaven knows how many more duplicate) webpages on the Axims at least state that they are on promotion?

Anyway … all prices garnered here are exclusive of shipping and delivery charges that will be added on to your shopping cart.
