Not bad for our estimate pricing

The new iPAQs are given a plush show at the Rasa Sayang Resort, Penang (Malaysia) yesterday. Among those who attended the function are MyPDACafe and iPAQClub members which copped some great feels of the new handhelds.

Both sites featured tons of pictures of the new gadgets and launch attendees; however we are rather disappointed that there wasn’t any substantial news or information about the PDAs themselves (exact availability dates, missed features/functionality, comments, etc.) iPAQClub has a price list (reproduced in MyPDACafe), but has not stated if it’s official - but the fact that they were there does warrant our benefit of doubt:

• rz1700 (rz1710/1715 in US); RM988.00
• rx3400 (rx3410/3415 in US); RM1,588.00 - there’s apparently a typo on ipaqclub that states this as the “rz3400″
• rx3700 (rx3710/3715 in US); RM1,888.00
• hx4700; RM2,488.00
• h6300 (h6310/6315 in US); RM 2,788.00

That’s some meaty prices for unproven devices on Windows Mobile 2003 SE … spend wisely now, folks Expected availability (according to launch attendees) is end-August/early-September 2004.
