Affordable 256MB MP3 players, anyone?
The last time we hung around Wal-Mart, we thought their ilo 256 MB Digital Audio MP3 Player was pretty spiffy with a price tag of only $79.72. But little did we know that this part of the market - flash-based USB drives with MP3 playing capability - is pretty hot. (Edit: Maybe because we were too focused on the 5GB hard drive players?)
Whatever’s the case, we decided to do a quick check in DealCatcher for the latest prices on 256MB flash MP3 players after eCost got our juices going with its Sandisk 256MB Digital Audio MP3 Player offer ($66.94) … and were pleasantly surprised to see them trumping even Wal-Mart’s low prices. Lexar Media (lowest price $59.99) and Sandisk (lowest price $62.00) are going great guns on their offerings too, we see.
