Staples $10 coupon

Friday, January 14th, 2005

Here’s a printable coupon which takes $10.00 off in-store purchases $40.00 or more; expires 1/30/05. That’s a 25% discount, not too shabby.
It wouldn’t be a bad idea to just click on, print, and stash it into your wallet now instead of holding off - there were too many instances where we unexpectedly needed to pop [...]

Time for new Zires - and a Tungsten?

Monday, January 10th, 2005

It happens every year, and 2005 is no exception. Spring starting from March always brings some new stuff from palmOne, and it’s usually for their non-enterprise product line, the Zires.
A difference is that there does not seem to be any strong rumor-mongering for new Zires this year as compared to 2003/2004 when the 71 [...]

Review: PDair Tungsten T5 Aluminum Case

Monday, January 10th, 2005

The Tungsten T5 is a good-looking machine. Although many will disagree with us but we believe that the Tungsten T5 design, carried over from its sibling the Tungsten E refreshes the evergreen Palm Vx’s boardroom looks that is a “must-have” by executives, CEOs, and chairmen.

Apparently it’s the only WiFi detector in the market that can be set on a permanent active mode, meaning you [...]

Thursday, January 6th, 2005

Psst: We are currently testing out some options to do podcasts on PDA-1. It’s not a definite thing, but we thought that Pocketcasting.com has a good how-to article, complete with pics on how to get those podcasts onto your Pocket PC as painless as it can be, for now. Check it out here.
Sidenote: The article [...]

PDA Buyer’s Guide has a very good and thorough review on one of HP’s latest Windows Mobile handheld, the iPAQ hx2750. It also mentions its other siblings the hx2410 and hx2110 which only differ in terms of processor and available onboard memory.

Garmin’s new Windows Mobile powered handheld

Thursday, January 6th, 2005

Not totally unexpected, but Garmin has just announced at the ongoing CES show their new iQue M5 GPS PDA. Powered by Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition on an Intel PXA272 416MHz processor and a now paltry 64MB RAM/64MB ROM, exterior-wise it looks much like its Palm powered brother, the iQue 3600.
