Cardo Scala BT headset
The Cardo Scala 500 Bluetooth Headset looks nice, weighs 0.58 ounces, runs up to 9 hours on a single charge (now that’s low), and is priced to move at eCost.com for only 35 bucks (regularly $79.95)- but will it work with your Bluetooth-enabled PDA?
Here’s what Cardo Systems say on that in its FAQ:
“The scala-500™ headset works with every Bluetooth phone we have tested to date. However, CARDO cannot guarantee compatibility with devices we have not yet seen. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to visit your retail store and test if it is compatible with the scala-500™ Headset. It is more than likely that it will.”
That’s for mobile phones, people - no mention of PDA-bonding. We don’t know about you, but we’d take their advice and go to the stores to test out the thing with our PDAs before making the buy - IF we can figure out what other store besides eCost.com sells it.
