We have always been fascinated by the i-mate JAM; mainly because it fits right into our predictions for the year. Other than that its looks, capabilities, and omigod so-compact size for a Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition powered machine makes it a must-have for totally mobile geeks and professionals alike.

It might lack built-in WiFi but for truly mobile data connectivity but its Bluetooth radio is (in our opinion) the preferred wireless connection. We argue our case with the fact that one still has to sit his ass down somewhere in a 300ft. radius for WiFi while Bluetooth via a BT mobile phone will get you data anywhere your phone works.

WiFi is still available to the JAM via SanDisk’s 256MB + WiFi SD card (so you don’t lose storage space.) So okay, enough of our preferences in data connectivity and on to the excellent i-mate JAM review, courtesy of Geek.com: Thanks to engadget for the heads-up.
